A Better Way to Buy a Solar Battery
ASBS was built to take the guesswork out of solar battery storage. No quotes, no sales calls, just upfront pricing and a store you can actually shop.
“Buying a solar battery shouldn’t mean waiting days for a callback. We built a store where you can see the price, compare your options, and order today.”
Why We Built ASBS
Most solar battery companies make you wait. You fill in a form, wait for a callback, sit through a sales call, then wait again for a quote that may or may not match what you were told.
We thought there was a better way. ASBS is Australia’s first transparent online solar battery store. Every battery we sell has its price listed upfront, with installation available as an optional add‑on rather than something you have to negotiate.
With over 20 years of experience in renewable energy behind us, we’ve chosen three battery brands we trust: GoodWe, AlphaESS, and Sigenergy. Each one is CEC accredited, which means you’re eligible for the federal government rebate whether you book our installation or arrange your own.
Browse the range, compare specs side by side, and check out online when you’re ready. If you’d rather have someone walk you through it first, our CEC‑accredited installers are a phone call away. Either way, the price you see is the price you pay.

How Solar Batteries Work
Three simple steps, from sunlight to powering your home after dark.
Solar generates power
During the day, solar panels convert sunlight into electricity. Most of this happens during peak sunlight hours, usually the middle of the day.
This electricity first powers your home’s appliances, lighting, and electronics — with any surplus left over once everyone’s needs are met.
The battery stores the extra
If your solar system produces more electricity than your home is using, the extra energy is sent to your battery rather than exported to the grid.
The battery stores this power so it can be used later, once solar generation drops off.
Use your stored power at night
When the sun goes down and your energy use increases, your home draws electricity from the battery instead of the grid.
This reduces how much electricity you need to buy, making your bills much cheaper.
